How to Participate in Maarif Innov Projects?
Step 1: Check Your Eligibility and Form Your Team
The competition is open to students from Maarif schools worldwide, Ivorian high school students, and students from other African schools aged 14 to 20.
Form a team of 2 to 5 students and choose a teacher or academic advisor as your mentor.
Step 2: Select Your Category and Develop Your Project
Choose up to 3 categories from the following: Information Technologies and Artificial Intelligence, Electronics – Robotics, Agricultural Technologies and Greenhouses, REnvironment and Sustainability, and Science and Technology.
Design an innovative project addressing a specific real-world problem. The project must be original and completed during the current school year.
Step 3: Register and Submit Your Project Online
Register on the website www.sciencefestafrica.org and fill out the form with details about your team and project.
Include a validation letter from your mentor confirming the authenticity of your project.
Step 4: Participate in Preselection and Present Your Project at SFA
Submitted projects will be evaluated online by a panel of experts, who will select the best ones.
If your project is shortlisted, you will present it during the Science Fest Africa, where it will be assessed, and the best projects will be rewarded.
