Register and Submit Your Project Online
Registration and project submission are key steps to formalize your participation in the Maarif Innov Projects competition. Here’s how to successfully complete this stage:
1. Visit the Official Website
- Go to the Science Fest Africa (SFA) website: www.sciencefestafrica.org
- Navigate to the section dedicated to the Maarif Innov Projects competition to find the online registration form.
2. Complete the Registration Form
The registration form should include:
School Information
- Name and location of the school.
- Contact information for the administration (to confirm the validity of your registration).
Team Details
- Team name and list of members (1 to 3 students).
- Personal information of participants: names, ages, grades, and email addresses.
Mentor Information
- Name and contact details of the mentor (teacher or academic advisor).
Selected Categories
- Specify the scientific category or categories for which you are submitting a project (up to 3 different categories).
3. Submit Your Project
For each project, you must provide the following information:
Project Title
- A clear and catchy title.
Summary
- A concise description (150–200 words) of the idea, the identified problem, and the proposed solution.
Project File
- A detailed document explaining your project, including diagrams, photos, or sketches if necessary.
- Development stages, methodology, and expected outcomes.
Validation Letter
- An official letter written and signed by your mentor, certifying that the project was designed and executed by your team during the current school year.
4. Check Technical Requirements
- Ensure all submitted files meet the required formats (PDF, Word, etc.).
- Verify file sizes and submission guidelines to avoid rejection.
5. Finalize and Submit
- Once all information is completed, carefully review the form and documents.
- Click "Submit" to validate your participation. You will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number for your registration.
6. Prepare for Preselection
- After submission, your project will be reviewed by an online jury of experts. Be available to answer any questions or provide clarifications if needed.
